    the black metal knight is an odd, multifaceted creature; when he is not adorned in his elaborate band getup, he wears green sweatpants and arizona wolf tees.this guy has dreams of one day relocating his band to norway, but in the meantime settles for his mom’s basement. he tries to make ends meet by working at the local comic book store, where he passes the time playing d&d and world of warcraft. with his career choice being unprofitable, he has suffered a series of financial setbacks that relate back to the upkeep of his image. two months worth of paychecks have gone towards having a frank frazetta clone paint his band’s cd cover. in addition, his stage getup has put him well over $800 in debt to the home depot and various bondage stores. if that wasn’t enough, medical bills have been piling up- the fearless knight suffered from a severe case of frostbite while filming a music video during a blizzard. regrettably, the aforementioned music video has enjoyed but 33 views on youtube to date.the black metal knight recently suffered from perhaps the greatest embarrassment of all while onstage at the local dive bar. drunk past the point where he could comprehend his actions, the “kvlt” one accidentally applied his corpse makeup in a manner reminiscent of wcw’s sting. fortunately for him, his drummer was also inebriated and emerged as a passable gene simmons.unlike his predecessors, he has never set a church on fire. he has, however, slipped and burnt his hair with his mom’s straightener.

    South Beach Diet Asian Recipes - Phase 1

    OK… I have been doing the South Beach diet, Phase 1, for 1 week and I am DYING for some chinese food. There is a resturant just down the street from me too and $20.00 in my hand. BUT, also right down the street from me is a grocery store with the makings of chinese food. And the best part is I get to control what goes into my food. So here are 2 modified recipies for the south beach diet, phase 1:

    Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

    Ingredients:

    • 2 Tablespoons Sesame or Olive Oil
    • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1/2 lb ground or sliced lean beef
    • 1/2 small head of cabbage shredded
    • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
    • 2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup of water
    • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

    Directions

    1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, and add oil.
    2. Saute garlic for about 5 seconds, then add ground beef.
    3. Stir-fry until beef is evenly brown.
    4. Stir in cabbage and pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender, and beef is fully cooked.
    5. Stir in soy sauce.  Add water. Season with pepper. Cook, stirring, for a few more minutes.
    6. Then enjoy as is. The sauce won’t be thick since I ommited the corn starch. Serves 4

    Chi Tan T’ang (Egg Drop Soup)

    Ingredients

    • 6 cups low sodium chicken broth
    • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
    • 1 green onion, minced
    • 3 eggs, beaten

    Directions

    1. In a large saucepan, add chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, and green onion.
    2.  Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally.
    3. Gradually pour the beaten eggs into the saucepan while stirring. Serve at once.
    4. Might be a tad thinner than what you are used to, but that is because the cornstarch has been ommited. Serves 2
